Built in one hundred and twenty seven acres of Cheshire’s finest countryside, the course is fast maturing to become one of Cheshire’s premier golf venues and features all the elements needed for a player’s maximum enjoyment.

The Course with Tees and Greens of USGA standard offer a real challenge to all levels. The Competition Tees make for a formidable test on such holes as the sixth- a 250 yard par 3 over water.

Mature trees, hedgerows, water features and wide fairways, all add up to golf at its best.

On the environmental front, many rare black poplar trees form a major feature in the design of the course. The course also incorporates nine ponds within its boundaries making it a highly environmental project.

The seventeenth and eighteenth holes are as goos a finishing combination as you’ll find when trying to hold a card together under the pressure of competition play.

The Brookfield Clubhouse was elegantly designed by Charles Mador, the London based architect responsible for many prestigious buildings in the golf world, eg Celtic Manor, Trafford Centre’s driving range and The Worcestershire among others. It is a split level structure with an impressive entrance and offers superb panoramic views of the course.

The open plan reception area leading to the upper floor bar / restaurant and the lower level function / conference suite offers warmth and comfort to all and caters to your every need.

A wide range of meals and bar snacks are served on the upper club level of the Clubhouse, which is open to members and visitors alike.

The bar / restaurant is also an ideal venue for an evening out with family and friends.

We offer two conference venues ‘The Oak Suite’ which is our main function suite offers seating for 120 either as a dining venue or seating for conference or lecture requirements. It has a broadband facility, its own private bar and disabled toilet facilities.

Our ‘Acorn Suite’ is an intimate room with seating for approximately 20 people. Ideal for small meetings, it has a broadband connection and has views over the 18th green.

Brookfield Golf Club Captains report 17 JAN 2017
Firstly, on behalf of myself, Helen, Dave and Claire can I wish you all a very happy new golfing year and thank the many of you who turned out to support the Captains farewell and drive in. Congratulations to John Hough, John Evans, Don Warner and Mags Mottershead on winning the competition on the day with a magnificent low score of 51.5 Nett. As we are all aware much goes on unseen in the background for such an event to take place and so I would like to say a big thank you to Rob and Ella for organising all aspects golf related, Ian and the greens staff for giving us a decent surface on which to play and Heather and her staff for preparing a welcome and tasty lunch afterwards. As Helen promised, the new Spot The Ball game has been located on the notice board adjacent to the pro shop. To be in with a chance of a cash prize simply pay £1 in the pro shop for each guess, put your name on the list and attach a coloured sticker with your number on to the image where you believe the ball to be.I did suggest using an aerial photograph of the first hole where members could guess where our drives finished. It was at this point I was informed that to make it fair that we needed to have actually found my ball !! Work that has taken place on the course: The main greens have been treated with a granular slow release fertiliser to encourage the recovery of the grass within the areas previously affected by Fusarium. The temporary greens have been cut. ( I hope they are not required but you can never tell at this time of year). The trench on 18th dug to improve drainage has been completed and tidied up. A dead tree has been removed from the right hand side of the 5th and further tidying of this area has taken place. A damaged and potentially hazardous bough has been removed from the oak tree by the 11th tee. Programme of thinning 3rd and relocation of 5th Rhododendrons has been undertaken. General machine maintenance ongoing in preparation for the season ahead. 11th January – Midweek Stableford. Congratulation to Edward Andrews on winning with a creditable 38 points on count back from Tony Millard and Robert Moulton. Well played to all given the conditions. 22nd January – Yellow ball AM AM. 29th January – Winter League. 05th February- Pro shop Stableford. Entry sheets for the above competitions are up on the notice board.
